Our History

Stam Law Firm, PLLC traces its roots back to the post World War II era.  After returning from active duty in the United States Army Air Corps, Carl Holleman attended Wake Forest Law School and then returned to practice law in Apex from 1950 until his death in 1992.  Paul (Skip) Stam, graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School in 1975.  In 1976 he joined Carl Holleman in the practice of law.  In 2010, Caroline Nickel, a 2007 graduate of Pepperdine University Law School joined the firm. In 2024, Deb Rasmussen, a graduate of Campbell University School of Law joined the firm.

Our offices are conveniently located on Highway 55 in Apex, North Carolina, directly across from the Apex Post Office. Parking is plentiful.
