Amy O’Neal

Associate Attorney – Ms. O’Neal joined Stam Law Firm, PLLC in August of 2017. Ms. O’Neal practices in the areas of general civil litigation, business formation and transactions, North Carolina Constitutional law, and appeals.

Experience

Ms. O’Neal was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2016. Prior to joining Stam Law Firm, Ms. O’Neal served as a law clerk for the Honorable John M. Tyson at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

While at UNC School of Law, Ms. O’Neal participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic as a certified student practitioner. She counseled and represented clients in civil domestic violence proceedings in Chatham County.

Ms. O’Neal worked as a legal intern at Stam Law Firm in the summer of 2015. Prior to and during her first two years of graduate studies, Ms. O’Neal served as a research assistant for Mr. Stam, then the Speaker Pro Tem of the North Carolina House of Representatives. Her research concentrations included K-12 education, specifically school choice, and the North Carolina Constitution.
